The Café is a space where community members across generations can come together to meet, share and learn in a way that enhances their social, mental and physical health.

Our Café is a great place to come and relax with a book or spend time with friends in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We sell hot and cold drinks, home cooked lunches, sweets and cakes baked fresh daily.

Our Op-Shop sells goods that are kindly donated by our local community. We stock a large range, from clothes and toys to kitchenware and linen. Within the Op-Shop you will also find our bookstore and local book exchange. We have quite a variety or novels, text books and children’s books on offer.

We would like to pay our respects to and acknowledge the Traditional owners and custodians of the land we work, play, walk and dwell. We also pay our respects and thanks to the Elders of past, present and future. Services are funded by the Department of Housing and Public Works and the Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors and the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women. Family Day Care is funded by the Federal Government and in partnership with Rio Tinto and Weipa Town Authority. NILS is funded by Good Shephard Micro Finance and National Australia Bank.
